I would like to choose a LCD tv (LED) between Samsung EH 5600 and Samsung EH6030.
The main difference between these 2 is Slim LED and Full LED. Where 6030 is a 3 D tv and 5600 is a Smart. My requirement is to go for a 3D with Slim at a price of Samsung EH 6030.
I might not use the smart function on my everyday use, so its not my high priority. But 3D with Slim LED (Edge technology) is of my choice. Is there a much difference on the full LED and Slim LED ? Please clarify.

I already bought eh6030 and I have to say that I am really disappointed. The 3D function on this TV is horrible and you will not really feel the 3D thing in it because there is no depth setting for 3D in this model so 3D mode is looks just a little bit more sharp then a normal 2D but you will not feel the things coming towards you which is a real amazing thing in 3D gadgets. (I have Sony head mounted display personal 3D viewer and the 3D experience on it is much much better then on that Samsung TV).
So better go for Sony or even LG for a 3D TV. Samsung should be least choice.

Maybe you are misssing something. i use the same TV and i must say the 3D is really the coolest of all i have watched so far. Also there is depth setting in Picture/3D section. One more thing to add up is that u need to turn on the 3D glasses to see the 3D and SBS format videos are the best to watch. 2D to 3D on realtime is not good because the video itself is not made in 3D cameras, try SBS videos.

Stop usng the 2D to 3D converter and start connecting the TV with a 3D Blu-Ray Player. Buy Final Destination 5 (on 3D Blu-Ray) and you will have the things coming towards you big time!
Don’t let Rishi make your mind change about this tv set. The 3D is perfect.
But of course you’ll need to see for yourself.

Love the picture on this TV. Bought it at BB this last week and 3D seems good to me if connected to a 3D Blu-Ray player. have noticed a issue with the sounds being off the picture some but probably just a tweek i havent figured out yet..Would def recommend for this price and for the quality
Well excellent picture quality and 3D. The only thing bad which I found out about this tv is that there is no optical in/out, the HDMI does not support ARC (audio return channel) and there is just one component/composite video in and one stereo audio in and one headphone port.
Can someone please tell me how to select the 3d depth & perspective on eh 6030
and the best 3d distance
