Sony Xperia ion LTE is the new version of Android Smartphone from Sony to run first on 4G LTE network and of course it does support 2G GSM network and 3G HSDPA network. The handset as well comes with much more in professional design with 133 x 68 x 10.8 mm of dimension and 144g of weight in rectangular shape.
The Sony Cell Phone comes with LED-backlit LCD touchscreen display of 4.55 inches with HD 720 x 1280 resolution for excellent viewing and screening of multimedia videos. The screen is well protected with Scratch-resistant glass and it gives multitouch up to 4 fingers. Presently Xperia ion LTE runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS but later it will be implementing to Android 4.0 OS. While the device is powered by 1.5 GHz Dual-core processor, GPRS up to 86 kbps, EDGE Up to 237 kbps and advance CUP of Adreno 220 for quick processor.
The selling point of the Smartphone is the phenomenal 12 Megapixel Camera with option of Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, 3D sweep panorama, image stabilization and full HD video recordings up to 1080p@30fps situated at the backside of the handset and 1.3 Megapixel camera at front for video callings. It inbuilt internal memories of 16 GB with 1 GB RAM and supports up to 32 GB via microSD card for huge storage of multimedia data. It also adds the facility of Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, NFC and USB connectivity.
Sony Xperia ion 4G LTE has a good audio of MP3 player, MP4 player and Stereo FM radio with RDS. Therefore, to stop a noise pollution in and around the environment it has given with Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic to preserve smooth and pleasing sounds. To run the system for long period of time it is given with standard battery of 1900 MAH. So finally the Smartphone is available in stores from month of June 2012.
