Nokia has just revealed one of its first Windows Phone device thats the Nokia Lumia 800 rather than Nokia’s own Symbian or MeeGo software. It’s ready for pre-order and should be in your hot little hands on 16th November. It will be provided with 2years contracts and will be available from three, Orange and Vodafone, at least to begin with.
The Nokia Lumia 800 borrows the Nokia N9 unibody design crafted in the ergonomic pillow-shaped made out of deep-coloured polycarbonate and sporting a AMOLED 3.7-inches 480 x 800 pixels Clear Black display featuring Graphics processor and capacitive multi touch, Light sensor, Proximity sensor and scratch-resistant glass display. Its Dimension is 116.5 x61.2 x12.1mm and weights 142grams. This smartphone and runs on Windows Phone 7.5 and is powered by a 1.4Ghzz Qualcomm Snapdragon single core processor coupled with 16GB internal memory and 512 MB of RAM.
Lumia 800 features a 8 MegaPixel camera with DUAL-LED Flash having Auto-Focus, Touch to focus, Digital Zoom, Exposure control, Geo-tagging and White Balance and also has a camcorder with 720p recording videos in HD at 30fps. It’s a 2G+3G enabled phone having internet explorer 9 and Built-in Online service support like Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Picasa and Twitter. It also features Cell ID, Wi-Fi802.11B/G/N, GPS, A-GPS, S-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and a USB Connector featuring Maas storage device, USB charging, Computer sync and OTA sync.
This smartphone is equipped with Accelerometer sensors and Digital Compass. It comes with a Standard 1450mAh Li-Ion battery giving talktime up to 13hours, standby up to 265 hours,3G talktime 9.5 hours and standby 3G time up to 335 hours.
