Very nice phone. Keep the reviews coming.
Samsung continuously giving innovative phones i live samsung ace too.
Is there corporate mailing with push mail option and the speed details
I was very excited about this when the phone was launched, i took it within 2 weeks of its launch, to my surprise samsung reduced
the price drastically by almost 3k within 1 week. this raised my eyebrows, i thought may be because of competition with Nokia.
But i was completely wrong when i started using the phone. I found the following which i think has compelled Samsung to reduce its price so much drastically within one month of its launch:
1. Initially i thought this phone would have the features of both touch and qwerty, but one main disadvantage is it doesnt have a call receiving and disconnecting buttons, its there only on touch screen.
2. the screen size is so small that you cannot enjoy the space of touch feature, obviously bad gaming experience.
3. I used a 8gb memory card which was 5 gb occupied, it scans the card twice everytime we restart the phone and it takes ages to scan it.
4. The speaker quality is very bad, you can hardly hear a call kept on speaker, i think the oldest phones or micromax were much better. obviously this doesnt give a good music experience.
5. you cannot send a contact card by text sms, it automatically goes to multimedia mode, this is really bad and cannot be changed.
6. The battery life is not as good as promised in the features section, it hardly runs for 8-9 hrs in standby and 2-3 hrs when being used for call/music.
7.The manual given with the set is a very brief and a start up one, there is no detailed one, not even on the internet!!. The most frustrating thing is the detailed manual is available for download on the uk webpage and not the Indian one!, so samsung thinks we are not worth it??
8. While recording videos the battery is consumed a lot. you can hardly record 30mins – 1 hr with a full battery charge.
9. The touch screen is really delicate and the body built looks durable but it is absolutely not. I just kept the phone in my pocket(trouser’s) drove for an hour and saw that to my surprise the screen was blank and it has shown cracks!!.
10. Last but not the least when i took this to the service centre(thinking it would be covered by warranty) they say that it is caused by damage to the phone, I argued that if it is damage like falling off, it would break the case or there should be some marks on the body of the phone, but they were none. They simply said screen damage is not covered by warranty!!!!
Hope I have cleared all aspects which one thinks of before buying a phone, and think its really not worth the price. Let me know your views by posting your comments.
Very true
Never buy this phone, this is the worst one. I am having the same problems with this mobile.
One of the worst battery backup i have ever seen.
